    TEACHING HOURS

    TEACHING HOURS

    Hours: from 8:50 a.m. to 4:50 p.m.

    Extended hours: From 7:30 (with breakfast) and until 6:00 p.m. for Early Childhood Education students and 19:00 for Primary Education students.

    TEACHING LEVELS

    CHILDREN'S EDUCATION/NURSERY AND KINDERGARTEN

    From 4 months. The joy of discovering the world in protected and caring environment. Aimed at children advancing in their maturing process with an active program of activities that promote action, stimulation, habits, psychomotor skills, music, etc ...

    PRIMARY

    Time to work on basic skills. The correct acquisition of writing skills, reading, verbal expression, calculation ... Its acquisition is an indispensable skill needed to avoid difficulties at school in later levels.

    SECONDARY

    We believe in teaching methods that give a fundamental role to the formation of the mind, that makes learning processes aware and that structures creative thinking and the autonomy of students.

    Baccalaureate

    Wide range of Baccalaureate degrees: International, Biosanitary, Technological, Arts and Social Sciences. Rigorous academic preparation and excellent results in external tests and university entrance exams.

    MAIN SERVICES

    • Preparation for the Cambridge University English tests.
    • Tutorial action and psychopedagogical department.
    • Reinforcement activities for students with educational needs.
    • Religious formation (preparation for First Communion and Confirmation, commitment groups).
    • Resource centre and outdoor activities in Almarza (Soria): Nature weeks from Early Childhood Education.

    • Sports and extracurricular activities: Ski week, handball, roller hockey, skating school, rhythmic gymnastics, karate, table tennis, yoga and paddle tennis.

    • School of music and dance: classical and Spanish dance, violin, viola, classical guitar, electric guitar, percussion, flute …

    • EI first year students will wear the CVE Physical Education uniform every day of the week and do not need another uniform.

    • Smock: green and white stripes (first and second cycle)
    • Girls in 5th and 6th grade can choose to wear navy blue chinos.

    BACCALAUREATE

    The students of 1st and 2nd Baccalaureate may come without a uniform if they wish, always following the strict guidelines in their clothing.

    For sports activities they will follow the general Physical Education uniform.

    PHYSICAL EDUCATION UNIFORM (BOYS AND GIRLS):

    • Navy blue sweatshirt with the school crest.
    • Navy blue long and short trousers with the school logo.
    • Short-sleeved T-shirt with the School’s logo.
    • Fine white cotton socks, sports socks from 4th grade of Primary Education.
    • White fabric shoes with laces, and white fabric with velcro (new model) in the case of Early Childhood Education (both for sale at the School if they wish)
    • Sports shoes (not boots) with compulsory laces, which can be easily tied so that the foot is well supported to do sports from 4th year of Primary Education.
    • Black matte lycra leotard (for sale at the school if they wish) for the following courses: all Primary and 1st and 2nd ESO.

    At the School you can purchase the following garments: Smock for 1 and 2 years, trousers and jacket for Secondary students, and all sportswear: sweatshirt, long trousers, shorts, t-shirt with a logo and fabric shoes with laces and velcro.

    • The Secretary’s schedule goes from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. uninterrupted.

    APPOINTMENT REQUESTS

    Each evaluation the tutor dedicates an afternoon to meet with interested parents. When the demand for appointments is greater, other times are enabled. An appointment is requested through the Secretary and the dates and times available to parents are reflected in the school calendar of the Phidias program.

    For its part, the management of the school gives appointments to  those who request them with greater flexibility.

    Contact with subject teachers is made through the Tutor and only in exceptional cases directly.

    Parents who have a complaint can transmit it in writing through the school´s Secretary, addressed to the Director.

    SCHOOL INSURANCE

    All parents of the School are protected by an insurance that guarantees school continuity until the end of the studies carried out at CVE in the event of the death or disability of the father, mother or guardian.

    ACCIDENT INSURANCE

    The School is protected by a policy with Seguros Generali that guarantees medical attention to our students at any time during their school life, be it in the school itself, or in the cultural or sports activities that it carries out.

    INVOICING

    Invoices are rotated between the 1st and 5th of each month, school activities are also charged in the same invoice.
