25 Jun Welcome to the final round of the Spelling Bee contest 2021
Welcome to the final round of the Spelling Bee Contest 2021. We can be very proud of our participants from 1st to 4rd grade. They are the best spellers in our primary school.
The thrilling, sudden-death competition saw the contestants fighting tooth and nail in each round, as they were challenged to spell tough words such as “scissors”, “island”, “geography”, “barbecue”, “prescription”, “refrigerator”, and many more.
Almost three hundred students signed up for our contest and only forty have managed to reach the great final. We have to take into consideration the fact that these students all have different levels of English language skills.
All the students have been working for nearly two months to try to be in the final and they have achieved our goals: to improve their English and to always give their best.
But not only have they reached these goals, they have shown us their wonderful personal values having massively signed up for the contest when they knew it was to help fund the Baka Children in Cameroon.
Congratulations to this year’s champions, to all the participants, and to the english department teachers for their hard work!
