6th grade: ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ creative thinking skills

The 6th grade English Language Aquisition classes shared the products they designed to demonstrate and teach their classmates about ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’. Our statement of inquiry was, «Creative word choice helps us follow the conventions of a text, relate, and empathize with its characters.»  Using this statement, along with their creative thinking skills to create original works, and organization skills to develop an action plan to carry out the task,  students developed a project that included character analysis and text conventions that they needed to present to others. Many of these projects exceeded expectations in their creativity and we hope you love the amazing photos of their work as much as we do!
